Jerry has a passion for industrial design, human factors, and renewable energy with an understanding of related engineering, manufacturing, and marketing activities. He served in the Navy as an Engineman with a Surface Rescue Swimmer certification and has over 20 years of experience working with small studios and large, international companies in different industries in his roles as a designer. Some of his hobbies include sketching, spending time with his family, and playing Gran Turismo.

Prior to GRC, he was with LMC, Inc., and was part of the team that built a $50M peanut processing facility (Premium Peanut, LLC) located in Douglas, Georgia which could shell peanuts at a rate of +30 ton/hr. Owned by a co-operative of 225 member farms, the facility created over 100 local jobs in a census track with high levels of poverty. Nearly 29 percent of the local population has an income below the poverty line and the city of Douglas had an approximately 9% unemployment rate at the time the project was underwritten. When completed in January of 2016, it was the largest known facility of its kind in the world.

Jerry provided support in the design of various machines and their components, building construction layouts, and managing marketing / advertising campaigns which included print, video, and other digital media.

Having been with GRC for over 2 years, Jerry is eager to apply his creative talents to architectural settings.
