GRC proposed a structured planning process for the remodeling and expansion of the Danfoss Turbocor Compressors facility in Tallahassee. The effort was intended to establish a clear roadmap before design work began, ensuring that the project aligned with Turbocor’s operational needs, future growth objectives, and budget expectations.

The project focused on three key goals: modernizing the reception area to better reflect the company's premium brand image, relocating the cafeteria to a new and more employee-friendly expansion space, and enlarging the research, development, and testing areas. To support these objectives, GRC recommended a comprehensive needs assessment involving facility reviews, stakeholder interviews, engineering evaluations, and budget planning. This phase would culminate in a report outlining findings, recommendations, and a strategic path forward.

After completing the assessment, GRC proposed a detailed survey of existing conditions to provide accurate information for design and construction planning. The survey would document facility spaces, equipment, and building systems, with follow-up verification conducted as demolition work exposed concealed conditions. Overall, GRC positioned this phased approach as a practical and cost-conscious method for helping Turbocor achieve a successful renovation and expansion that would meet both immediate requirements and long-term business needs.
