FAMU charged GRC with designing their Amphitheater. It is located in the heart of FAMU’s campus. This project was completed in 2020 in collaboration with Bliss Nyitray, Inc., George and Associates Consulting Engineers, and Pinnacle Engineering. Tiered levels were constructed for standing viewers and/or informal seating for up to approximately 450 persons and 100 performers on stage.

 

Currently GRC Architects, RAM Construction and FAMU audio visual consultant Theatre Projects, are installing a new Audio / Visual tower next to the new FAMU Amphitheatre. The new AV tower will provide additional acoustic speakers and video screens of the events on stage.  

The project is scheduled to be completed summer 2022.
