Connor Ross
 AIA, LEED AP | Principal

cross@architects-gca.com

Connor Ross is the technical principal of Gilchrist Ross Crowe Architects and he is considered to be the best PA in the region. Connor’s specialty at GRC is putting the buildings together; the more complicated the better. Restorations, industrial and technical theater projects top his list for a thought provoking project. He became registered in Florida in 1981 and is now licenses in Florida and Georgia. He is also a registered contractor in Florida. He heads up GRC’s Green Architecture and is a LEED accredited design professional.

Connor started young and on the job in Indiana with his father H. J. Ross, Builder. H. J, as he was called constructed every aspect of his projects and employed few if any sub-contractors. His father is also the founder of Ross Rigid Frames. The Ross Rigid frame is the marriage of structure and design, where the structure and effort are displayed as the aesthetic theme of the home. Ten years in the trenches with; a shovel, a hammer, or torch brings a wealth of understanding on construction issues from both sides of the table.

Connor is considered to be a “jack of all trades” but master of all. His interest often exceeds his free time exemplified by his 1955 Chevrolet restoration project currently entering its third year. He is a part time mechanic, woodworker, audio geek and struggling pianist.
