Associate | Interior Designer
Emily has eleven years experience working at Gilchrist Ross Crowe as lead Interior Designer for numerous projects including the renovation of the Florida State University Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. In the office Emily works closely with the design personnel at GRCA, from conceptual design phase through construction. She plays an active role in MEP coordination, and assists in spec writing, space planning, and detailing. Her involvement continues through CA with shop drawing review and assistance in project management. Her experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) is extensive.
In the field Emily works with building Owners and/or User Groups, through workshops and presentations, to determine needs and address concerns. Her history of involvement in Construction Administration has afforded her the opportunity to perform regular field inspections on numerous renovations, most recently for the deerlake Middle School Renovations. She has led coordination with three vendor architects for University Food Services, including Sub Connection at FAMU Commons.
