Diana was awarded her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Camaguey in Cuba in 1991 and has over 15 years of experience as an Architect working in the design of hospitality, educational, and health care projects in Cuba. Following her arrival to the United States in 2007, she worked for small and large architectural firms in the South Florida area, participating in new multi-family residential, health care, commercial, high end residential, and small apartment remodeling projects.  Diana relocated in April 2016 to Tallahassee and quickly became part of the GRC design team.  She has a preference for presentation drawings and interior design, due to her previous training in the School of Arts in Cuba where she excelled in free-hand sketching, painting in various media, block printing, and sculpture.  Diana has been using AutoCAD since 1992 in Cuba and the U.S. and is now adding a new passion at GRC, Archicad, a versatile tool to create architectural projects using a 3D electronic platform that includes Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Diana is uniquely proud to be a U.S. Citizen by naturalization and she thanks this amazing country for the opportunity of a new life enjoying the liberty and freedom that she did not have before in Cuba.  Today she devotes her time to family, her Quaker parrot that is learning to speak English, and looks forward to joining local artists, making Tallahassee her new home.
